Welcome to Amplify Speech and Language! I’m Christina Khamooshi, a licensed speech-language pathologist with a deep passion for helping individuals find and strengthen their voices. I earned my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Wayne State University and have extensive clinical experience across acute care hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient clinics. Over the years I’ve worked closely with adults to help them regain speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive skills following acute neurological injuries, head/neck cancer, as well as progressive neurological conditions.

After having my daughter, I chose to take a pause in my clinical career to focus on raising my now 2 beautiful children! Since their early days, I’ve intentionally taught them the communication skills I’ve spent years developing professionally. The powerful impact that early, guided interaction can have on a child’s development was so clear through working closely with my own kids. This motivated me to share this knowledge beyond my home—supporting both parents and children through meaningful, play and evidence-based speech and language therapy.
